Photo by Becky McCray.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When I saw what an exciting thing the Third Thursday downtown in Hutchinson, Kansas, was, I grabbed my cell phone, and Jim Seitnater, the Downtown Development Director for Hutchinson, and did a quick interview.<\/p>\n<p>I admit, the quality of my cell phone video is awful, but the content is terrific, so there is a summary below the video.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/j0fwgxNeCj8?list=PL432CB1076AB60518&amp;showinfo=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Summary of Jim&#8217;s comments:<\/p>\n<p>Third Thursday is a great evening of art, music, food, fun, shopping. It&#8217;s a time when the community comes out, and sees some of the new improvements and some of the new businesses and people downtown.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the brain child of last year&#8217;s art walk that was going to be just once a year. One of Hutchinson&#8217;s new residents, a local artist named Jennifer Randall, said we can&#8217;t just do it once a year. She was committed to make it work, month in and month out. She saw the possibility of it being a great evening. People get a chance to show off their businesses.
