Anyway, its great to see someone writing about small town business. As more of these markets become aware of the resources available on the internet your name and popularity are only going to skyrocket!<\/p>\n<p>Congrats<\/p>\n<p>Jesse<br \/>[emphasis added]<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>I picked a few folks for my photo montage who I think are small town successes. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.batchblue.com\/michelle-riggen-ransom.html\">Michelle Riggen-Ransom<\/a> co-founded BatchBlue from Rhode Island. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mediaegg.com\/conversify\/about.html\">Aliza Sherman<\/a> is a national expert on women and technology. She is currently based in tiny Tok, Alaska. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bold-words.com\/\">Britt Raybould<\/a> is defining her own level of success from Idaho.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Hugh MacLeod invented the idea of the <a href=\"http:\/\/gapingvoid.com\/2005\/10\/11\/the-global-microbrand-rant\/\">Small Town Global Microbrand<\/a> and is now a best selling author. He has lived many places in the world, but chose to return to Alpine, Texas. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.boomtowninstitute.com\/bookstorebtusa.html\">Jack Schultz<\/a> of Effingham, Illinois, wrote the book on small economic development and is a premier consultant on economic development. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/deswalsh.com\/\">Des Walsh<\/a> chose long ago to move out of the big city to Australia&#8217;s Gold Coast, where he is still in demand as a speaker and authority on home-based business, government, and technology.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>I haven&#8217;t yet met <a href=\"http:\/\/jasonkintzler.com\/\">Jason Kintzler<\/a>, founder and CEO of Pitch Engine, so I don&#8217;t have a photo of him. He&#8217;s another small town person running a global technology company. He happens to be happily based in Wyoming. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What do you think? Can you make it big from a small town?
