Well, that&#8217;s not quite enough.<\/p>\n<p>Experimenting means more than just trying things. It means methodical testing. You have a specific idea you&#8217;re testing, and the test is designed to find out whether the idea is valid. And before, during and after the test you measure.<\/p>\n<p>How do you use this as a replacement for business planning? Follow all the steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Come up with an idea for your business.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Figure out a way to test it.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Set up a relevant measurement.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Run the test while measuring.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Measure how well it worked.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Decide how to improve the idea and test that.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Not as simple as just &#8220;trying stuff,&#8221; but potentially powerful.<\/p>\n<p>Do you think this could be a useful alternative to planning for you?<\/p>\n<p><em>New to SmallBizSurvival.com?
