You&#8217;ll find <a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/beckymccray\">me<\/a> there, too. These are unedited, just as they appeared. I bolded a few favorites.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chrisbrogan\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chrisbrogan\">ChrisBrogan<\/a>: What do you do after you fail?<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ChrisCree\">ChrisCree<\/a>: <span>I get back up! (Oh, sure I might wallow for a bit. But I don&#8217;t stay down for long.)<\/p>\n<p><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/Graydancer\" target=\"_new\">Graydancer<\/a>: You just keep going. Everything else does, after all. Inching along.<br \/><span><br \/><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mmcallen\">MMcAllen<\/a>: <span>I usually retreat and regroup then attack from a different formation or  position.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/douge\" target=\"_new\">douge<\/a><span>: Experiencing failure is what drives you to win.<\/span><\/div>\n<p><span><br \/><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Pistachio\">Pistachio<\/a><span>: <\/span><span><span> fail again as soon &#038; enthusiastically as possible,<\/span> until it works. ok that&#8217;s what i WANT to do, not always goes that way  <\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/guy_david\" target=\"_new\">guy_david<\/a>: After I fail, I stop to access. If there&#8217;s another way, I try it. If there is no other way, I move on to something else.<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/kevinks\">KevinKS<\/a><span>: <\/span><span><span>I don&#8217;t fail. I &#8220;conclude a learning experience.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/dotboom\" target=\"_new\">dotboom<\/a>: After I fail, I try to succeed at something larger, and even more improbably.<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/randelaw\">Randelaw<\/a>: <span>you mean once the nightmare is finally over? Determine the errors in judgement and vow not to commit them again<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/chelpixie\">ChelPixie<\/a>: <span>if I fail I look to make sure I can&#8217;t fix it, absorb, take a deep breath and move on.<br \/><\/span><span><br \/><\/span><span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/vaspers\">Vaspers<\/a><span>:<\/span> we have nothing to fear but success (i.e. scaling) itself. Then again, I&#8217;m a Zero Defects perfectionist. <span>Fail = an experiment<\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/Chuckumentary\" target=\"_new\">Chuckumentary<\/a>: I failed repeatedly all week. I just knew Friday the 13th would turn my luck around. I get PO&#8217;d when I fail, but channel it&#8230;?<\/div>\n<p><span><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/misc\" target=\"_new\">misc<\/a>: *after* i fail? you&#8217;re assuming i&#8217;ve stopped!<\/div>\n<p><span><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/geosteph\" target=\"_new\">geosteph<\/a>: about 14 years ago I &#8216;failed&#8217; my Ph.D program in geology&#8230;and found my perfect career! so far living very happily ever after!<\/div>\n<p><span><br \/><\/span><span><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/mobasoft\" target=\"_new\">Mobasoft<\/a>: Failure is only an opinion &#8211; typically one which is given by those who are weak in spirit and drive.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/andreamercado\" target=\"_new\">andreamercado<\/a>: post-mortem the problem, learn from mistakes, try again.  :)<\/p>\n<div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/mochant\" target=\"_new\">mochant<\/a>: when I was a ski instructor I told students that if you didn&#8217;t have one great wipeout each day you weren&#8217;t trying hard enuf.<\/div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/guy_david\" target=\"_new\">guy_david<\/a><span>:<\/span> After moving to something else, I sometimes come back and see it in a different perspective.<\/div>\n<p><\/div>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/conniereece\">ConnieReece<\/a>: <\/span><span><span>sometimes learning how NOT to do something is an invaluable prelude to figuring out the right way.<\/span><br \/><\/span><span>ConnieReece: <\/span><span> Thomas Edison did not get discouraged when experiments failed because each failure brought him one step closer to an invention that worked.<\/span><br \/><span><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/timcoyne\" target=\"_new\">timcoyne<\/a>: as an actor\/writer in LA, &#8220;failure&#8221; is a constant.  the biggest danger is getting used to failure.  tricky balance.<\/div>\n<p><span><\/p>\n<p><\/span><span><\/p>\n<h3>ChrisBrogan:       Follow-up question: do you know when to quit? Do you know when to call the whole thing off?<\/h3>\n<p><\/span><br \/><span>ChelPixie: No I don&#8217;t know when to quit.  Let&#8217;s just say I like to fix things.  It takes me a while to give up on something as lost.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><span>GrayDancer: of course I know when I should quit. Usually it&#8217;s a small-but-significant time before I actually do&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/BassGhost\" target=\"_new\">BassGhost<\/a>: when I run out of alternate approaches.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span><\/span><span>KevinKS: <\/span><span>      &#8220;fail&#8221; quickly and with thanks, then get onto the next attempt.<\/span><br \/><span><br \/><\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.twitter.com\/goodthingscomin\" target=\"_new\">goodthingscomin<\/a> I learn a lesson from failing. I adjust future endeavors. Quitting is something I have a hrd time with.
